Support for Parents

One of the biggest rewards I have found in creating The Gender Project is the relief parents feel when they can ask the "hard" questions about their kid in regards to gender and get support.  The other reward is the light I see turn on in parents eyes when they realize that more often than not gender issues can be helped just by the way we talk to our kids.  The hardest thing to handle is when the parents realize the issue goes far beyond the home and deep into our society making it very very hard to protect our children from the awful gender based abuse almost every kid experiences on a daily basis.
