Installations overview
at face value installation
There are a number of current installations that are a part of The Gender Project. At Face Value, Gender Specific and The Familiar Gender are 3 current working exhibits that can be seen in gallery form or as a combined visual designed for trainings, orientations and symposiums. (re)Defining Gender and Gender Revolution are exhibits expected in 2011.
At Face Value
will challenge our social conditioning called gender through 100 images of gender expression surrounding a stream of information.
Gender Specific parallels At Face Value using text instead of images, challenging your gender conditioning through words and social titles.
The Familiar Gender questions and reforms the conditioned idea that the "family" automatically means
Mom, Dad, and conceived kids-unless told otherwise. Family is what you make it.
(re)Defining Gender is projected to launch 2011 and is slated to the most challenging and controversial leg of this project.
Gender Revolution is a collection of the photographers work showing gender as the wide range of expression it really is.
